Xi extends greetings to all Party members on CPC's 105th founding anniversary

Xi Jinping, general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, extended greetings to all Party members at a gathering marking the 105th founding anniversary of the CPC at the Great Hall of the People on Wednesday morning in Beijing.

"On behalf of the CPC Central Committee, I extend festive greetings to all Party members, and also extend warm congratulations to the recipients of the July 1 Medal and the commended outstanding Party members, Party workers, and primary-level Party organizations," Xi said when delivering a speech at the gathering.

One hundred and five years of unremitting efforts has fundamentally changed the future and destiny of the Chinese people, Xi said.

Reviewing the development course of the Party and the nation, Xi said the Chinese nation is destined for a brighter future ahead.

Xi conferred the July 1 Medal, the Party's highest honor, on model CPC members at the gathering.
