Indirect U.S.-Iran talks underway, with Qatari, Pakistani mediation: sources

Indirect talks between the United States and Iran are underway in Doha, Qatar on Wednesday under the mediation of Qatar and Pakistan, an informed source told Xinhua.

The talks are taking place indirectly now, with no face-to-face meetings between the two sides, the source said, adding that the sessions are closed and are being facilitated by the mediators.

The source added that at least three working groups are holding technical talks in Doha, covering the nuclear issue, diplomacy, financing, and the return of frozen Iranian funds.

A major exhibition on the Xi Jinping Thought, titled "Forging Ahead on a New Journey - Documentary Exhibition on Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era," opened in Beijing on Monday.

Hosted by the Institute of Party History and Literature of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC), the exhibition features over 20,000 exhibits in multiple languages, including physical documents, illustrated panels, and digital interactive technologies.

It comprehensively displays the key works of CPC Central Committee General Secretary Xi Jinping, academic and theoretical research, achievements in local Party history, multimedia audio-visual materials and databases, as well as the compilation, research, translation, and publicity efforts of the Institute.

The exhibition captures the extraordinary journey and achievements of the CPC Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core, in advancing the adaptation of Marxism to the Chinese context and the needs of the times, and highlights major outcomes in studying and interpreting the Party's innovative theories.
