Chinese President Xi Jinping is to hold a welcome ceremony for visiting Namibian President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing on Friday afternoon.
Nandi-Ndaitwah is on a state visit to China from July 5 to 11 at the invitation of Xi.

Hong Kong's stock market ended mixed Friday with the benchmark Hang Seng Index up 0.60 percent to close at 24,175.12 points.
The Hang Seng China Enterprises Index gained 0.52 percent to end at 8,039.19 points, and the Hang Seng Tech Index decreased by 0.21 percent to end at 4,721.66 points.
