The BRICS Women Ministerial Meeting was held in Kochi, India, from Wednesday to Thursday, with around 100 representatives participating either in person or virtually.
A Chinese delegation led by Huang Xiaowei, vice-president and first member of the Secretariat of the All-China Women's Federation, attended the meeting.
Speaking at the event, Huang said China stands ready to work with all parties to implement the four global initiatives proposed by China, empower women's development through practical cooperation, promote mutual learning among civilizations through people-to-people exchanges, and translate the outcomes of the Global Leaders' Meeting on Women into concrete action, so as to build a community with a shared future for humanity.
The Chinese delegation also shared China's development achievements and reviewed its hosting of the Global Leaders' Meeting on Women as well as its efforts to advance women's all-round development.
