Chinese President Xi Jinping will meet with Thai Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul in Shanghai on Friday.
Anutin arrived in Shanghai on Thursday for the 2026 World AI Conference and High-Level Meeting on Global AI Governance and an official visit to China.
The visit marks Anutin's first official trip to China since he took office as Thai prime minister in September 2025.
The 2026 World AI Conference and High-Level Meeting on Global AI Governance is being held from Friday to Monday, bringing together world leaders, official representatives, business leaders, scholars and researchers from more than 100 countries and international organizations.
