At least eight Palestinians were killed and 20 others injured on Friday in an Israeli airstrike on a funeral in the Nuseirat refugee camp, central Gaza, according to Palestinian medical sources.

The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) issued a statement on the same day condemning what it described as another heinous crime committed by Israeli forces, accusing them of "systematic and continuous" violations of the Gaza ceasefire agreement.

The Israeli military has not yet responded to the allegations.

According to data released by the Gaza Health Ministry on Thursday, Israeli military operations in the strip had resulted in 1,127 deaths and 3,643 injuries since the first phase of the Gaza ceasefire took effect in October 2025.
