Russia's Defense Ministry said on Friday that its forces continued to strike Ukrainian ports and related vessels, destroying energy storage tanks and naval drones, while Ukraine said it had carried out multiple long-range strikes against Russian targets in recent days, destroying a Tu-95 strategic bomber at Russia's Engels military airfield in the Saratov region.

Ukrainian drone attacks struck multiple regions across Russia from Friday night into Saturday morning, killing nine people and injuring dozens. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Saturday that his forces had successfully hit two Russian logistics hubs and an oil facility.

Russia's Defense Ministry said on Saturday that its air defense forces had intercepted and destroyed 379 Ukrainian drones overnight from Friday to Saturday across nearly 20 federal regions, as well as over the Sea of Azov and the Black Sea.

Yevgeny Pervyshov, governor of Russia's Tambov region, said on social media on Saturday that a logistics center in the region was struck by Ukrainian drones early that morning, killing seven people and injuring 25 others.

Meanwhile, Ukrainian drone strikes hit a logistics center in Moscow Oblast on Saturday, leaving 37 people injured, according to Russian authorities.

Moscow Oblast Governor Andrei Vorobyov confirmed on social media that drone attacks overnight had killed one person and caused fires at an oil depot and a kindergarten.

A Ukrainian drone attack on Russia's Belgorod region left one person dead and another injured, according to local authorities on Saturday. Meanwhile, a strike on an energy facility in the Kursk region cut power to more than 46,000 people.

On Saturday, Zelensky said on social media that in response to Russian attacks on Ukrainian civilian infrastructure and towns, Ukrainian forces had successfully struck two logistics hubs in Russia's Moscow and Tambov regions.

The two facilities are located more than 500 kilometers and 700 kilometers from the front line, respectively.

Zelensky said the Russian military uses these facilities to produce components for drones and navigation equipment.
