China successfully launched five satellites aboard the Lijian-1 Y15 carrier rocket at 7:33 Friday from the Dongfeng Commercial Space Innovation Pilot Zone in northwest China.

The five satellites, including Tianyi-48, entered their preset orbits.

This mission marks the 15th flight of the Lijian-1 carrier rocket.

Oil prices climbed on Thursday due to Middle East tensions.

This is the first time that International benchmark Brent crude has broken through 100 U.S. dollars per barrel since May, after two Saudi oil tankers were hit in the Red Sea.

Brent crude for September delivery climbed to 100.69 dollars per barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange, up 6.62 dollars, or 7.04 percent, from the previous settlement.

Meanwhile, the West Texas Intermediate for September delivery reached 92.19 dollars per barrel at one point, up 5.36 dollars, or 6.17 percent on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
