Indonesia's East Nusa Tenggara provincial government has declared a 14-day emergency response status following a 7.7-magnitude earthquake that struck the Flores Island on Aug. 15, according to a provincial government decree.

The emergency response period runs from Aug 15 to Aug 28, said the decree issued by Melki Laka Lena, governor of East Nusa Tenggara province.

The earthquake was centered about 30 km northeast of Mbay in Nagekeo Regency at a depth of 15 km, according to the decree.

Indonesia's National Disaster Management Agency said the earthquake and 341 aftershocks had left 51 people dead and 113 others injured.

A total of 3,356 people were taking refuge in Sikka, 2,078 in Manggarai and 500 in Nagekeo, while others were displaced in Bima and Selayar.

The quake damaged 914 houses heavily, 126 moderately and 317 lightly. It also damaged 93 educational facilities, 36 health facilities and 38 government offices.

The provincial government said the emergency response status was aimed at facilitating disaster response, evacuation, relief distribution and recovery efforts in affected areas.

The program explains to international audiences the essence of Xi Jinping Thought on Culture and the solid cultural foundation underpinning his philosophy of governance.

Guests attending the launch event for the documentary said the Azerbaijani version of the documentary holds significant importance, as it is an excellent example of cultural dialogue between China and Azerbaijan, generating extensive resonance between the two countries in terms of protecting and inheriting outstanding historical and cultural heritage.

At the event, CMG also introduced a number of its programs to Azerbaijan Television, a state-controlled national television station in Azerbaijan, including China Flash Forward, Chinese Craftsmanship, Song of the Yellow River, Herbal Legacy, The Wisdom of Wellness, and Wok This Way, which aroused great interest among the guests present.
