European stocks closed higher across the board on Friday.
The United Kingdom's FTSE 100 index rose 0.64 percent to close at 10,816.56 points. France's CAC 40 index gained 0.37 percent to finish at 8,484.43 points. Germany's DAX index jumped 0.59 percent to end the session at 26,136.56 points.

International gold and silver prices closed higher for the third consecutive trading day on Friday.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, gold futures for December delivery rose 2.39 percent to settle at 4,680.60 U.S. dollars per ounce, while silver futures for September delivery gained 2.09 percent to close at 69.530 dollars per ounce.
