A bazaar outside the National Speed Skating Oval in Beijing has added to the appeal of the Second World Humanoid Robot Games, which runs through Wednesday.

Various smart robots, including one capable of running a stall independently, have wowed visitors at the bazaar. The robot can precisely pick and deliver goods to customers while cooperating with other intelligent equipment to make coffee and ice-cream.

"Besides watching the games, it's a great experience for everyone to walk out of the stadium to look around and interact with robots. You can feel the changes that technology has brought to our life," said Guo Jinli, a visitor.

In addition to coffee and ice-cream, robots at the bazaar can make pancakes and cotton candy, which are popular snacks among visitors. They can also write calligraphy with traditional Chinese brushes and play five-in-a-row chess with attendees.

"There are 70 stalls at the bazaar, involving 17 robot makers. People can interact with robots at over 20 stalls. By visiting the bazaar, they can feel up close that robots have entered our daily life. In addition, there are five immersive and VR exhibitions around the lake. We hope to enable leisurely consumption for participants and audience at the games," said Song Xiuping, manager of the bazaar.
