BERLIN, Sept. 18, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Wearable startup evobeing made its public debut at IFA Berlin 2026, showcasing the first working demo of its debut smart ring, evobeing R1.

During the show, R1 was named "Best in Show – IFA 2026" by Trusted Reviews, an exciting early milestone for the team.

More than a product debut, IFA was evobeing's first chance to share its vision with the audience and show how wearables can go beyond tracking data to help people better understand their body and what to do next.

From Data to Decisions

While today's wearables excel at collecting information, most focus on presenting users with scores, charts, and historical data. The challenge is that people are often still left wondering what to do with that information in everyday life.

Built around the philosophy of "Move in your moment," evobeing was created on the belief that life is shaped not by a handful of major decisions but by countless small moments throughout the day.

In those moments, people often need something simpler than more data: timely, understandable guidance that helps them make better decisions about their energy, focus, and wellbeing.

Four States, One Ring

That philosophy is reflected in the design of evobeing R1. Rather than concentrating solely on exercise or sleep, the ring is designed to help users understand how their physical and mental state changes throughout the day. By continuously interpreting signals from the body, R1 translates complex health data into four intuitive states: Ready to Go, In Flow, Take It Easy, and Running Low.

The goal is to make personal health information easier to act on. Instead of analyzing technical metrics, users can quickly understand when they may be ready to challenge themselves, enter a period of focused work, recover, or simply slow down.

To make this possible, evobeing R1 tracks key health signals around the clock, including heart rate, HRV, blood oxygen (SpO₂), skin temperature, sleep, and activity.

Instead of simply showing you more data, R1 turns these signals into personalized guidance on what to do next, with timely nudges delivered directly through the ring's built-in vibration.

Personalized for Everyday Life

Over time, R1's AI-powered personalization adapts to individual patterns and habits, learning from each user's unique rhythms rather than evaluating everyone against the same standard.

Built for all-day wear, R1 features a lightweight titanium design and up to eight days of battery life.

The debut comes as interest in smart rings continues to grow. The global smart ring market is projected to expand significantly over the coming years as consumers increasingly seek more personalized and accessible approaches to health monitoring and wellness management. For evobeing, this shift represents an opportunity to rethink what wearable technology can do. Rather than simply helping people understand what has happened, the company aims to help them decide what to do next.

Looking ahead, evobeing aims to make wearable a more natural part of everyday life—helping people better understand their bodies and make smarter decisions in the moments that matter.

About evobeing

evobeing is a wearable technology company built around a simple idea: your body is always changing, and your wearable should understand that too.

Guided by "Move in Your Moment," evobeing combines health sensing and personalized AI to help people understand how they feel throughout the day—and know when to push, focus, pause, or recover.

The goal is simple: less data to worry about, more guidance that actually helps in the moment.

NINGBO, China, Nov. 4, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- The "2026 Global Mayors Dialogue • Ningbo" is being held in Ningbo, Zhejiang province, from Nov. 2 to 5. Mayors and mayoral representatives from 20 cities in 15 countries and regions across five continents, along with representatives of international organizations and enterprises, have gathered in the city to explore opportunities for openness and deepen practical cooperation.

Participants included Wayne Brown, mayor of Auckland, New Zealand; Enrico Ricci, a representative of the mayor of Florence, Italy; Ahmed Wazeery, secretary-general of Suez Governorate, Egypt; and the mayors of three cities in Lebanon. Representatives of international organizations, including the United Nations Global Compact China and the BRICS New Development Bank, also attended.

Under the theme "Openness and Connectivity for Shared Opportunities," the event features a main mayoral dialogue, two scenario dialogues, and three activities focused on civilizational exchange and mutual learning. During the event, guests visited Ningbo-Zhoushan Port, the world's largest port by throughput, as well as Ningbo Yaji Logistics Co., Ltd., Ningbo PIA Automation Holding Corp., Peacebird Group, Dongqian Lake and the Old Bund. At the forefront of intelligent port logistics and in smart workshops where embodied robots are produced, they explored how cities can achieve high-level openness and identify future opportunities.

At the main venue, 14 cooperation projects were signed in areas including friendly exchanges, economic and trade cooperation, science and technology education, and cultural tourism. They included the establishment of friendly exchange relations between Yuyao City in Zhejiang and Errachidia, Morocco, and between Yinzhou District of Ningbo and the Canton of Saint-Étienne-du-Rouvray, France. The "Ningbo Consensus on Collaborative Development" was also released, calling on cities to uphold openness and connectivity, deepen industrial collaboration, promote people-to-people ties, and work together to maintain the stability and smooth flow of industrial and supply chains.

Joachim Moyse, vice president of the Rouen Metropolitan Area and mayor of the Canton of Saint-Étienne-du-Rouvray, France, said: "When the world makes it easy for people to lose hope, we must sit down together all the more and jointly build a framework for peace. Because peace is the great prerequisite for all cooperation." He also wanted to take a "gift" home from Ningbo: the city's broad vision of caring for all social strata and building the city around people's needs. Moyse said this is precisely the "Chinese experience" he wants to bring back to France and share with his compatriots.

Located in eastern Zhejiang, Ningbo is home to Ningbo-Zhoushan Port, the world's largest port. It is also an international gateway for openness and an advanced manufacturing base, long known by the saying, "Books preserve the past and present, and the port connects the world." The event features a seven-section exhibition, "Ningbo and the World: Global Chinese Culture with Overseas Ningbo Companies," showcasing Ningbo's achievements in promoting two-way economic and trade connectivity and people-to-people ties, with culture as the bond, enterprises as the mainstay and the port as the foundation. At the Night of Ningbo event, Ningbo's Siming Library and classic books selected by visitors are placed together in the Tianyi Pavilion, one of the world's three oldest family libraries, bearing witness to friendships between cities that span mountains and seas.
