Hong Kong's stock market ended higher Monday, with the benchmark Hang Seng Index up 0.54 percent to close at 24,642.51 points.
The Hang Seng China Enterprises Index rose 0.63 percent to end at 8,216.84 points, and the Hang Seng Tech Index fell 0.37 percent to end at 4,296 points.

Tokyo stocks closed lower on Monday.
The benchmark Nikkei stock index, the 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average, ended down 486.58 points, or 0.73 percent, at 65,877.62.
The broader Topix index, meanwhile, finished 16.59 points, or 0.40 percent, lower at 4,112.00 points.
