European stock markets closed mixed on Monday.
The United Kingdom's FTSE 100 index decreased 0.10 percent to close at 10,684.88 points. France's CAC 40 index rose by 0.01 percent to finish at 8,078.48 points. Germany's DAX index edged down 0.13 percent to end the session at 25,374.42 points.

Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a presidential decree on Monday extending the deadline for the mandatory ruble settlement mechanism for natural gas trade from the originally scheduled October 1, 2026 to April 1, 2027.
Under the ruble settlement rule, foreign buyers are required to deposit rubles into the Russian bank accounts of Russian suppliers in order to complete payment.
