DJI Dock 4 Features New DJI Matrice 5TD With Wide-Angle and Infrared Cameras, mmWave Radar, LiDAR, and AI-Powered Real-Time Detection for 17 Types of Objects

SHENZHEN, China, Oct. 14, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- DJI, the global leader in civilian drones and creative camera technology, today launches DJI Dock 4. Setting a new standard for continuous aerial operations, this is DJI's first drone-in-a-box solution with a 25-second automated battery swap. With this new capability, operators can significantly help close the gap between getting an alert and having full situational awareness, enabling teams to quickly assess scenes and give ground crews better real-time context. It also features the new DJI Matrice 5TD enterprise drone, which comes equipped with multiple sensors for greater versatility and more reliable flights day or night. When paired with the DJI O4 Ground Station, a drone can be deployed from an even higher position to ensure stable communications in obstructed environments. As a dock-as-a-first-responder (DFR) solution, Dock 4 ensures always-ready aerial support for public safety, emergency response, remote infrastructure inspections, overnight security, and surveying.

Ready in Seconds for Rapid Response
With Dock 4, the Matrice 5TD can be instantly launched once a command is issued remotely. It can arrive at a scene at up to 21 m/s ahead of ground crews, providing real-time situational awareness with a low-latency livestream and high-speed data transfer. With the dedicated video transmission topology, drone-to-cloud latency is up to 160 ms, down about 32% from the previous generation, for a smoother live view. To ensure continuous support for emergency responses, Dock 4 can complete a fully automatic battery swap in just 25 seconds, cutting the turnaround time between flights from a 30-minute recharge to just seconds. Moreover, a single flight with the Matrice 5TD can last up to 59 minutes, covering more area in a single takeoff.

Near and Far, Day and Night
Matrice 5TD combines telephoto imaging, infrared imaging, laser ranging, and full-color night vision while delivering aerial survey accuracy up to 10 cm at 12MP. With multiple sensors, the drone can support a variety of day-or-night scenarios without swapping airframes. Key imaging features include:

  • 11× Telephoto: Captures details from 400 m away, even pin-level defects on power lines 100 m away, with a 252 mm equivalent focal length.
  • Infrared Camera: Reveals overheating and damaged insulators with resolutions up to 2560 × 2048 in UHR mode, with 2K recording and 32× zoom at night.
  • Fusion Mode: Get structure outlines and heat distributions in one frame by fusing the visible-light and infrared feeds with edge or overlay fusion modes.
  • Sharper Night Performance: Capture full-color images with the 4K high-frame-rate night vision without a spotlight. The camera also pairs with the NIR auxiliary light for black-and-white night vision.
  • 3km Laser Ranging: Overlay range data and PinPoint coordinates on the feed for powerline inspections, rescue operations, or wildfire estimates.

Robust Protection for Reliable Flight Even in Complex Sites
With the three-directional mmWave radar, a rotating LiDAR, and a six-directional vision sensing system working together, Matrice 5TD achieves precise obstacle sensing, even inside a substation packed with live equipment or around crossing distribution lines.

The wire-level obstacle sensing can detect thin obstacles, including power lines, even at night. Likewise, the six high-res low-light fisheye sensors enable full-color, six-directional sensing, helping maintain obstacle sensing even under city lights at night. When paired with the O4 Ground Station, the Matrice 5TD signal can be extended, enabling deployment in obstructed environments, such as high-rises or substation walls.

Improved Safety, More Payloads
Dock 4 can operate reliably in extreme temperatures from -40° to 50° C. In freezing weather, the dock auto-preheats the batteries and uses air conditioning in high heat. Meanwhile, the Matrice 5TD's Wind-Exceed Descend-and-Return brings the drone back safely in extreme weather. It can also take off, land, and operate in winds up to 12 m/s. If winds spike during the drone's return, it descends and navigates back home, even over mountains and forests. Additionally, operators can mix and match Matrice 5TD accessories and payloads up to 450 g, such as speakers, spotlights, and parachutes. Meanwhile, the built-in Customizable Warning Light can be activated during security patrols with no additional installation.

AI-Powered Workflow for Intelligent Situational Awareness
Equipped with Onboard AI, the Matrice 5TD now detects 17 object types in real time, such as cars, boats, or animals. Meanwhile, DJI FlightHub 2's Virtual Cockpit allows operators to search for specific objects via text or image. Notifications via SMS, email, or platform alerts can be set up to flag when anomalies are detected and trigger actions such as snapshots, recordings, tracking, or hovering. It can also run real-time AI detection on live feeds.

Industry-Leading Data Security and Regulatory Compliance
DJI places the highest priority on data security – and puts customers in control of their data. Since 2017, we have regularly submitted our products for third-party security audits and certification, including OnDefend, Booz Allen Hamilton, FTI Consulting, and Kivu Consulting. DJI's Flight Termination System (FTS) module is a key technical requirement for C6 compliance, providing the Matrice 5TD an additional level of safety for an organization's operation in strictly regulated airspace. FTS can be manually triggered to stop the drone's propellers during operation or automatically triggered when the drone breaches the Geocaging boundary, promptly terminating the flight.

DJI Care Enterprise Plus and DJI Official Extended Warranty Service
DJI Care Enterprise Plus, together with DJI Official Extended Warranty Service, provides comprehensive protection for the DJI Matrice 5TD. For the DJI Dock 4, DJI Care Enterprise Plus is introduced for the first time, offering free replacement of eligible repair materials within the coverage limit. For the Matrice 5TD, DJI Care Enterprise Plus offers flexible coverage-based repair services, including one battery replacement per year, along with newly added Flyaway Coverage Service. In addition, DJI Official Extended Warranty Service extends the warranty period by one year and provides prompt, professional technical support to ensure reliable support for users' day-to-day operations.

Brightray expands into the world's largest data center market with its first U.S. project letter of intent, targeting delivery within one year with Brightray prefabricated data center solution to support next-generation AI compute deployment

SINGAPORE, Oct. 14, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Brightray Science Inc. (together with its subsidiaries, "Brightray"), a majority-owned subsidiary of BUUU Group Limited (Nasdaq: BUUU), today announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Brightray Veridian Pte. Ltd., entered into a letter of intent (the "LOI") on October 6, 2026 with a U.S.-based mission critical infrastructure partner (the "Partner") for a planned 10MW AI data center project in Indiana, United States. The LOI is Brightray's first project letter of intent signed in the United States and marks an important step in its expansion into the world's largest data center market.

The project site is located in Indiana, United States. Under the LOI, the Partner intends to engage Brightray to deploy a 10MW prefabricated data center solution, with implementation subject to the parties reaching final agreement on technical specifications, commercial terms, the project schedule and definitive contract documentation. Brightray intends to act as the supplier for the prefabricated data center scope agreed by the parties, providing related design, manufacturing, integration, delivery and other agreed services. The principal cooperation arrangements under the LOI are not legally binding and do not create any obligation on either party to purchase, supply or make payment. Under the LOI, the Partner intends to issue a purchase order to Brightray by November 15, 2026. The LOI will expire 12 months after it was signed unless replaced earlier by a definitive agreement. There can be no assurance that the parties will enter into a definitive contract, that the Partner will issue a purchase order or that the project will proceed as planned.

Project Overview

The project is intended to use Brightray prefabricated data center solution, with planned power capacity of 10MW. To meet the U.S. market's pressing need for speed of delivery, Brightray intends to complete the pre-installation and integration of the data hall modules and related functional systems at the manufacturing stage, so that on-site work is concentrated on module placement, interface connections and integrated commissioning. The single-storey layout will be designed around the equipment configuration, operation and maintenance access and site conditions, providing space and facility support for the deployment of high-density AI equipment.

The project is intended to be compatible with the NVIDIA GB300 computing platform, with power distribution, cooling and data hall layout planned around the requirements of high-density AI equipment deployment. The project is planned to be designed on the basis of Tier III standards, with a target design annual power usage effectiveness ("PUE") of below 1.2, aiming to balance high-density computing capacity, operational reliability and energy efficiency.

By carrying out factory prefabrication in parallel with on-site foundation and ancillary works, Brightray plans to shorten the project delivery period to within one year. The one-year target covers the overall project schedule in the United States, including design finalization, permitting, international shipping, on-site foundation and ancillary works, installation and commissioning, and not only the delivery of the prefabricated modules. The starting point of the delivery period and the implementation schedule will be specified in the subsequent definitive contract. The final design, technical specifications and delivery arrangements of the project remain subject to factors including the parties' final agreement, site and power conditions, required approvals and equipment supply.

Entering the World's Largest Data Center Market, Capturing AI Build-Out Demand Through Delivery Capability

The United States is the world's largest data center market and a major center of global AI infrastructure investment and construction. According to JLL's 2026 Global Data Center Outlook, the Americas account for approximately 50% of global data center capacity, with the United States accounting for approximately 90% of capacity in the Americas. The scale of this market makes the United States an important market for Brightray's international expansion and provides broad scope for construction solutions that can accelerate the delivery of computing infrastructure.

Strong market demand comes with significant delivery constraints. CBRE's U.S. Real Estate Market Outlook 2026 notes that power supply and infrastructure conditions continue to affect data center construction schedules and that traditional 12-to-18-month timelines for sub-50-MW buildings no longer apply. Against this backdrop, speed of delivery has become an important consideration for customers in selecting construction solutions. By carrying out factory prefabrication in parallel with on-site works, Brightray intends to shorten the delivery period for this project to within one year; the starting point and delivery conditions will be specified in the definitive contract.

The LOI gives Brightray the opportunity to carry out its first project in the U.S. market. For Brightray, its significance lies not only in a new 10MW project opportunity, but also in bringing the prefabricated delivery model to the world's largest data center market and building local project execution and partnership experience. If the technical solution, commercial arrangements and definitive contract are finalized, the project is expected to serve as a reference for Brightray's future business expansion in the United States.

Brightray Prefabricated Data Center Solution Supports Rapid Delivery of AI Infrastructure in the United States

Mr. Bin Wang, Founder of Brightray, said, "Entering the U.S. market is an important step in Brightray's international development. The U.S. has enormous data center demand, and customers face real pressure to turn their AI investments into usable computing power as quickly as possible. Our entry point is delivery: with Brightray prefabricated data center solution, we move more of the work into the factory and run manufacturing in parallel with on-site works, with the aim of shortening the delivery period for this project to within one year."
