PHOENIX--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct 16, 2026--

Following yesterday’s milestone launch announcement, EmeraNova™, the new corporate identity of BioLab Holdings and a medical technology company building an advanced tissue restoration platform, has announced a collaboration that will expand its portfolio into an entirely new category and allow it to enter additional care settings. Technology leader Kent Imaging is teaming up with EmeraNova to bring advanced wound imaging to wound care clinics, surgical centers, hospitals and HOPDs.

“This collaboration with Kent Imaging is a proof point of the direction we’re headed,” said EmeraNova President & CEO Jaime Leija. “Not only are we expanding the diagnostic category of our toolbox of products, a crucial step in the tissue restoration journey, but these technologies will allow us to aid clinicians’ ability to make diagnoses in a much wider range of care settings, providing a deeper, more advanced look into a patient issue.”

Kent Imaging’s SnapshotNIR and SnapshotGLO work together to reveal two key barriers to repair—low tissue oxygenation and elevated bacterial bioburden. With dual imaging insights, clinicians gain clarity, confidence, and speed in decision-making, supporting earlier, more targeted interventions that optimize treatment and reduce delays.

SnapshotNIR is non-invasive, cost effective, and measures and reports approximate values of tissue oxygen saturation (StO2), relative oxyhemoglobin, relative deoxyhemoglobin in superficial tissue. SnapshotGLO is an adjunctive tool that uses ultraviolet light via a handheld portable device to provide users with a visual of elevated bacterial loads in a wound by detecting fluorescence emitted from bacteria at loads greater than 10⁴ CFU/g*.

“The strongest clinical decisions begin with a clearer understanding of what is happening beneath and around a wound,” said Pierre Lemire, CEO of Kent Imaging. “Partnering with EmeraNova allows us to pair advanced imaging insights with a broader tissue restoration strategy, helping clinicians connect assessment to next steps with greater confidence.”

The collaboration reflects EmeraNova’s continued strategy of building one of the industry's most comprehensive tissue restoration toolboxes through partnerships with companies developing advanced regenerative, imaging and therapeutic technologies. Through its commercialization network, EmeraNova will support broader adoption of Kent Imaging’s technologies across care settings nationwide.

PALO ALTO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct 16, 2026--

Navan (NASDAQ: NAVN), the global AI-powered business travel and expense platform, today announced that NVIDIA Nemotron 3.5 Super VL is now powering several of its AI travel agents in production. Just three weeks after receiving early access and beginning its work with NVIDIA, Navan trained and deployed the model.

This press release features multimedia. View the full release here: https://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20261015304230/en/

The deployment is the latest example of Navan’s open-model strategy: evaluating models for specific travel tasks, adapting them with Navan’s travel expertise, and self-hosting them to maintain control over performance, cost, and reliability.

Before deployment, Navan internally evaluated Nemotron 3.5 Super VL against its self-hosted production baseline and other models using consistent prompts, tools, travel scenarios and criteria. After fine-tuning with NVIDIA NeMo AutoModel VLM LoRA training recipe, Nemotron 3.5 Super VL delivered the strongest overall performance, beating or tying every competing model on six of seven measures, including having the lowest latency. The model is now in production and powering customer conversations at a lower cost while delivering greater value to Navan users.

“Building reliable agentic travel systems involves much more than choosing a model, but continuously iterating to improve and solve real-world problems,” said Ilan Twig, co-founder and CTO of Navan. “We’re grateful to NVIDIA for early access to Nemotron 3.5 Super VL, which shows how open models can help us move faster, maintain control, and deliver meaningful value without compromising quality.”

Navan combines open and closed models to build AI travel agents that understand what travelers want, follow policies, and use the right tools to get the job done.
