Background and Objectives

Driven by its vision of making daily air transportation a reality, SkyDrive is advancing manufacturing and commercialization efforts in Japan while pursuing international technology development for global markets.

As an Asian hub for technological innovation, Singapore hosts world-class technical capabilities across aerospace, advanced materials and electronics. Situated at the heart of Southeast Asia, a key strategic market for SkyDrive where the eVTOL market is rapidly expanding, Singapore serves as an ideal base for advancing next-generation air mobility initiatives in the region.

The purpose of this MOU is to evaluate and advance joint research and development (R&D) focused on key component technologies — such as aircraft weight reduction, next-generation batteries, and flight operations management — as well as potential validation environments, through collaboration with these local technical partners. This collaboration covers pure technical validation and research and development in the region, aiming to establish foundational technologies for a future sustainable air mobility society.

Partner Companies and Key Technical Domains

Under the MOU, SkyDrive will explore joint research and development with the following six Singaporean companies specializing in advanced technical fields.

Future Outlook

Based on this MOU, SkyDrive and the participating companies will engage in regular technical exchanges and information sharing, working toward definitive agreements for specific joint R&D initiatives and feasibility studies. SkyDrive will continue to deepen partnerships with advanced global technology leaders to accelerate the development of compact eVTOL aircraft built to the highest standards of safety and quality.

LAHORE, Pakistan (AP) — England was forced to bat first in its bid for a first ODI win in Pakistan in 21 years after Sri Lanka won the toss and elected to field Thursday in the cricket tri-series.

England, which last won a one-day international in Pakistan in 2005, lost its first three games in this tri-series and was already out of contention for Saturday’s final.

Last week, England captain Harry Brook’s fastest-ever ODI double-century wasn't enough to stop Sri Lanka from successfully chasing down the second highest-ever total of 430 runs in the 50-over format.

Shadab Khan then smashed an extraordinary 113 off 96 balls in Pakistan’s epic one-wicket win at Lahore on Sunday after England had reduced the home team to 154-9 in a chase of 242.

England crashed to 87-run defeat in its opening match against Pakistan after cruising to 120-1 in a chase 303-run target at Rawalpindi.

England selected Sonny Baker over Jamie Overton in the only change to the lineup that lost to Pakistan.

Sri Lanka retained in the same XI which skittled Pakistan for 110 in its previous game.

Lineups:

England: Tom Banton, Ben Duckett, Joe Root, Harry Brook (captain), Jordan Cox, Sam Curran, Will Jacks, Liam Dawson, Gus Atkinson, Henry Crocombe, Sonny Baker.

Sri Lanka: Avishka Fernando, Kamindu Mendis, Kusal Mendis (captain), Pavan Rathnayake, Sahan Arachchige, Janith Liyanage, Dasun Shanaka, Dunith Wellalage, Eshan Malinga, Asitha Fernando, Dilshan Madushanka.
