JAKARTA, Indonesia, Nov. 2, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- BCI, a subsidiary of Yingfa Ruineng, held a technology launch event in Jakarta to introduce its Indonesian manufacturing facility, production capabilities and technology roadmap. The facility has an annual capacity of 7.5 GW of N-type TOPCon solar cells and is Yingfa Ruineng's first overseas manufacturing base. It is intended to serve as a regional supply hub for Southeast Asia, the Middle East and other international markets. The event also highlighted half-cell passivation, multi-cut cell designs and back-contact (BC) solar cells.

About 80 representatives attended, including Indonesian government-related institutions BKPM, EBTKE and IPAMP; industry associations AESI and APAMSI; and customers from Indonesia and neighboring markets. Zhang Min, President of Yingfa Ruineng, and Xu Zhenyu, General Manager of BCI, also attended.

Yingfa Ruineng said the facility supports Indonesia's 100 GW solar power program and the country's efforts to strengthen domestic manufacturing and local content (TKDN). The company operates four major manufacturing bases in Tianchang, Yibin, Mianyang and Indonesia, with combined effective capacity of 51.5 GW, including 45.5 GW of N-type TOPCon capacity. In 2025, overseas revenue accounted for 40% of total revenue, with products exported to more than 20 countries and regions.

BCI's 7.5 GW cell capacity is positioned to support Indonesia's growing solar market and domestic supply chain. For project developers, EPC contractors and module manufacturers, local cell production can offer shorter supply routes, closer technical coordination and greater flexibility in supply planning. BCI's local capabilities are also intended to help Indonesian module manufacturers address applicable TKDN requirements, subject to relevant product certification and regulatory requirements.

Beyond individual orders, Yingfa Ruineng aims to build long-term partnerships with Indonesian industry participants through local supply, technical collaboration and manufacturing capability development. The company plans to strengthen its local workforce, develop supplier relationships and expand localized technical services. Through sustained investment and cooperation with local partners, it seeks to contribute to Indonesia's domestic photovoltaic manufacturing ecosystem.

On technology, Yingfa Ruineng combines established cell technologies for manufacturing scale and supply reliability with continued development of next-generation solutions. Its processes include half-cell passivation and multi-cut cell designs to support production efficiency and cell performance. Its BC technology places electrical contacts on the rear side, leaving the front surface free of front-side electrical contacts and supporting high-efficiency designs. These characteristics may offer advantages for distributed rooftop systems, off-grid installations and microgrids across Indonesia's many islands, although actual performance depends on product configuration, installation conditions and application requirements.

The company continues to advance its TOPCon and BC platforms. Its reported TOPCon cell efficiency of 27.3% and BC cell efficiency of 28% should be understood in the context of the specific cell designs and testing conditions. Yingfa Ruineng has also completed an initial end-to-end fabrication process for perovskite/BC tandem solar modules, marking further progress in next-generation PV R&D.

Through BCI, Yingfa Ruineng is extending its manufacturing capabilities, technical expertise and international market experience to Indonesia. The facility reinforces its international manufacturing network and provides a platform for closer engagement with regional customers and industry partners. Looking ahead, the company aims to deepen collaboration with Indonesian stakeholders in local supply, technology development, workforce training and manufacturing capacity, while aligning with applicable industrial policies, TKDN requirements and industrial park arrangements. It intends to work with government institutions, project developers, EPC contractors, module manufacturers and other industry participants to support the sustainable development of Indonesia's photovoltaic industry and the country's clean energy transition.

Featuring an All-in-One Self-Emptying System and a 3.1 lb Ultra-Lightweight Design, the V50 Cube Delivers Effortless Dust-Free Cleaning and Clutter-Free Storage.

NEW YORK, Nov. 2, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Narwal, a global leader in smart home cleaning, today announced the V50 Cube, the brand's first cordless dry vacuum for the U.S. market. Fresh off award-winning previews at major 2026 global tech expositions, including CES and IFA, the V50 Cube reimagines everyday stick vacuum cleaning with an innovative all-in-one base station that eliminates the hassle of manual dustbin emptying and minimizes clutter. Marking a futuristic expansion to Narwal's established lineup, the vacuum is the ultimate grab-and-go solution, bringing lightweight, compact cleaning performance to a broader consumer audience.

V50 Cube: At a Glance

  • 100-Day Hands-Free Maintenance: The Narwal TurboEmpty System uses vertical airflow, Active Dust Scraping, and UV-C sanitizing to transfer dust into a sealed 0.8-gallon antibacterial bag that holds up to 100 days of debris.
  • All-in-One Compact Dock: The all-in-one auto-empty station keeps the accessories neatly organized, while continuously charging a spare battery to provide up to 110 minutes of total runtime.
  • Powerful Multi-Surface Suction: 210 AW suction power, an SGS-certified ZeroWrap anti-tangle roller brush, and flagship-grade carpet cleaning technology tackle deep dirt and pet hair without tangles.
  • Ultra-Lightweight & Ergonomic Handling: The vacuum body weighs just 3.1 lbs, with a 180° flat-lay design that easily slides under low-clearance furniture and maneuvers into tight crevices.

The New Standard for a Dust-Free Home

Manual dustbin emptying has long plagued traditional stick vacuum cleaning, releasing airborne dust clouds and allergens that cause secondary pollution and respiratory discomfort. Combined with a bulky, difficult-to-maneuver design, traditional models add extra hassle to daily cleaning and storage. The V50 Cube tackles these challenges head-on by pairing a highly maneuverable dry vacuum with a compact, all-in-one auto-empty station, engineered to deliver a seamless, dust-free, and perfectly organized home-cleaning experience.

"Modern homeowners seek cleaning technology that effortlessly handles everyday messes without disrupting the home's interior," said Junbin Zhang, CEO of Narwal. "The V50 Cube marks a significant expansion to Narwal's innovative lineup by eliminating messy accessory storage and the friction of manual emptying, delivering a tailored, intuitive vacuuming experience to a wide range of homes."

Effortless Maintenance with Proprietary Self-Emptying System

Simplifying post-cleaning maintenance, the dock features Narwal's innovative TurboEmpty System. Driven by powerful vertical airflow, it transfers debris directly from the vacuum cup into a sealed 0.8-gallon antibacterial dust bag, safely locking away dirt for up to 100 days.

During the emptying cycle, the Active Tangle-Free Roller Brush automatically loosens caught hair, while an Active Dust Scraping Ring wipes away stubborn residue stuck to the dust cup walls. For ultimate home hygiene, the system features a 6-layer filtration system with dual H13 HEPA filters and a UV-C sanitizing light. This comprehensive system captures ultra-fine particles down to 0.1µm, suppresses odors, and prevents dust from escaping back into the air.

An All-in-One Dock Built for Seamless Convenience

The V50 Cube's compact base station blends seamlessly into modern living spaces, offering Push-In Charging for effortless docking and a second swappable battery that charges continuously for up to 110 minutes of total runtime.[1] Integrated storage keeps interchangeable tools and wands organized and within easy reach for cleaning cars, upholstery, and ceilings, keeping clutter at bay.

Intelligent Technology for Deep, Multi-Surface Cleaning

Powered by a 450W motor, the V50 Cube produces impressive cleaning performance with 210AW suction power and 28,000 Pa vacuum pressure. The SGS-certified ZeroWrap Roller Brush features soft velvet fibers for hard floors and a silicone roller that vibrates carpets at 7,500 bpm to dislodge deeply embedded dirt, completely preventing hair tangles along the way.

To maximize efficiency, the V50 Cube brings Narwal's flagship robot vacuum technology to the stick vacuum category with CarpetFocus™ Technology. When it detects carpet, the vacuum automatically lowers the brush plate to create a tight floor seal, instantly maximizing suction. Optical sensors power AI DirtSense to detect dust levels in real time and adjust suction power as needed, while the DirtScan 145° Ultra-Wide Aqua Light illuminates hidden dust in dark areas so no spot is ever missed.

Ultra-Lightweight Ergonomics and Flexible Maneuverability

Built to reduce physical strain, the V50 Cube boasts an ultra-lightweight 3.1 lb handheld body that lets users clean stairs, ceilings, upholstery, car interiors, and tight corners with ease. For floor cleaning, the vacuum's 180° Flat Lay Design allows it to lie completely flat, reaching deep under low beds, sofas, and other low-clearance furniture.
