East China's Jiangsu Province has ranked first in the transaction volume of China’s national electricity market in 2024, exceeding 470 billion kWh, according to the Jiangsu Power Exchange Center.
The province's green electricity trading exceeded 12 billion kWh for the first time, reaching 12.657 billion kWh, a year-on-year increase of 143 percent.
This is equivalent to reducing coal consumption by over 3.88 million tons and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by over 9.68 million tons.
