An earlier video captured two spirited giant panda cubs tussling over a tree trunk at the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding in southwest China's Sichuan Province.

Their fluffy "wrestling" antics ended only when a caretaker intervened to separate the determined pair, as shown in the footage filmed by the China Conservation and Research Centre for the Giant Panda (CCRCGP) and released on April 30.

Playful clashes among young pandas are common as they develop survival skills. However, the CCRCGP staff closely monitor such interactions to ensure the cubs' safety.

CCRCGP is China's leading institution for breeding and conserving China's national treasure panda. CCRCGP has also established a global platform for promoting international cooperation and exchanges involving 18 zoos from 16 countries and regions, 39 domestic animal breeding institutions, and more than 10 scientific research institutes.

China is deeply shocked by and strongly condemns the U.S.'s blatant use of force against a sovereign state and action against its president, a Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson said Saturday.

It's reported that the U.S. launched military strikes on Venezuela and Donald Trump posted on Truth Social that the U.S. has "successfully" carried out a large-scale strike against Venezuela and its leader, President Nicolas Maduro, along with his wife, have been taken and "flown out of the country."

Such hegemonic acts of the U.S. seriously violate international law and Venezuela's sovereignty, and threaten peace and security in Latin America and the Caribbean region, the spokesperson said, adding that China firmly opposes it.

"We call on the U.S. to abide by international law and the purposes and principles of the UN Charter, and stop violating other countries' sovereignty and security," said the spokesperson.
