Over the first two days of the eight-day National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival holiday, the Nalati grassland in northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region welcomed 14,726 visitors, drawn by its breathtaking alpine landscapes and enhanced seasonal offerings.

In the early days of the holiday period, which began on Wednesday, travelers flocked to Nalati grassland nestled in the Ili River Valley and cradled by the Tianshan Mountains, to experience the region's iconic natural beauty. From the popular Tianjietai observation platform, visitors enjoyed sweeping views of layered alpine and river valley grasslands, set against a vivid backdrop of snow-capped mountains, dense forests, colorful meadows, and winding streams, a scene described by many as a living landscape painting.

To further enhance the visitor experience, the scenic area has been leveraging its ecological strengths to upgrade its autumn and winter tourism offerings. These efforts aim to showcase the enduring charm of the grasslands throughout the changing seasons, ensuring a year-round appeal for nature lovers and adventure seekers alike.
