The Shenxianju scenic area in Taizhou City of east China's Zhejiang Province has introduced customized services including pet-friendly facilities and smart luggage delivery to enhance the visitor experience during the May Day Holiday.

The five-day holiday, running from May 1 to 5, has drawn large crowds to the popular destination.

With the growing demand for traveling with pets, scenic spots like Shenxianju have stepped up to offer more pet-friendly services. According to a pet industry white paper released in January, the country had 126 million pet cats and dogs in urban areas in 2025, with over 70 percent of owners willing to travel with their pets.

Shenxianju has set up dedicated pet facilities, including a special pet-friendly cable car and rest areas. Convenience products like drinking water and waste bags for pets are available in shops in the scenic area. These thoughtful measures allow visitors to enjoy the scenery together with their furry family members.

"I never expected to be able to take my furry little one to visit Shenxianju during the May Day holiday. The pet facilities here are very thoughtful and considerate," said Cao Siyu, a visitor.

Meanwhile, Shenxianju has partnered with logistics platforms to offer convenient luggage storage and delivery services.

Visitors can drop off their luggage at the scenic area's smart storage facilities and have them delivered directly to their destination, such as a hotel. This seamless service allows travelers to explore the sights completely hands-free.

"Initially, I thought it would be inconvenient to bring such a large suitcase while hiking at Shenxianju, but later I learned that Shenxianju offers this luggage delivery service, it's much more convenient. By the time I arrive at the hotel, it will be there waiting for me," said Yang Lingxin, a visitor.

OPEC said in a communique on Sunday that seven OPEC+ countries decided to increase their oil production cap by 188,000 barrels per day in June, in response to the withdrawal of the United Arab Emirates from the bloc.

The seven countries -- Saudi Arabia, Russia, Iraq, Kuwait, Kazakhstan, Algeria and Oman -- made the decision during a virtual meeting on Sunday to review global market conditions and outlook. The increase, which will be implemented in June 2026, is part of adjustments to the additional voluntary production cuts first announced in April 2023.

The group said the voluntary adjustments could be returned gradually, either in part or in full, depending on market developments.

Reaffirming their commitment to oil market stability, the countries stressed the need for a cautious and flexible approach, noting that production levels could be increased, paused or reversed as necessary, including adjustments introduced in November 2023.

The seven countries also said the move would provide an opportunity to accelerate compensation for any overproduction since January 2024.

They reiterated their commitment to full compliance with the Declaration of Cooperation, with output levels to be monitored by the Joint Ministerial Monitoring Committee.
