Russia on Wednesday reported conducting strikes on multiple fronts, while Ukraine claimed its counteroffensives have yielded results.
Russian army has taken control of one settlement in Zaporizhia region, said Russian Defense Ministry on Wednesday.
Russia had conducted operations in 141 regions, striking and destroying targets including substations, railway motor trains, military airport infrastructure, drone assembly workshops and storage points, fuel depots, and temporary deployment points of the Ukrainian armed forces and foreign mercenaries, according to the Russian Defense Ministry.
On the same day, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that there were 200 combat encounters along the front lines in the past day. The Ukrainian Air Force, along with missile units and artillery, struck concentration areas of Russian personnel, weapons, and military equipment.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Wednesday that the Ukrainian forces are currently launching counterattacks in the directions of Dobropillia and Pokrovsk while engaging in active defenses in the directions of Kupyansk and Novopavlivka, and have achieved certain results.

Carney arrived in Beijing on Wednesday to begin a four-day official visit to China, marking the first trip to the country by a Canadian prime minister in eight years.
