Hong Kong's stock market ended lower on Monday with the benchmark Hang Seng Index down 0.71 percent to close at 25,635.23 points.
The Hang Seng China Enterprises Index lost 0.26 percent to end at 8,891.71 points, and the Hang Seng Tech Index edged down 0.30 percent to end at 5,483.01 points.

China supports all the efforts conducive to the peaceful settlement of the Ukraine crisis, said Foreign Ministry spokesman Lin Jian at a press briefing in Beijing on Monday.
Lin made the statement in response to a media query regarding the recent developments surrounding the Ukraine crisis.
"China supports all the efforts conducive to the peaceful settlement of the Ukraine crisis, and hopes that all the parties involved will reach a fair and durable peace deal that is binding through dialogue and negotiation," said Lin.
"Since the outbreak of the Ukraine crisis, China has maintained close communication with all the parities involved, including Russia and Ukraine. China is committed to promoting a ceasefire and facilitating peace through talks. China's efforts in this regard have been widely recognized by the international community. China supports all the efforts conducive to peace and will continue to play a constructive role to that end," added Lin.
