ByteDance's next-generation AI video generation model Seedance 2.0 has been recently launched and integrated into its generative AI creation platform Jimeng and the Doubao app, quickly gaining popularity for its realistic visuals and user-friendly creation process.

The new model boosts significantly improved output quality -- more precise, more realistic, with stronger controllability. The technological advancement has substantially lowered the barrier to video creation, attracting attention from both ordinary users and film industry professionals.

"Some details, like specific movements and various camera shots, can be handled very precisely," said one Beijing resident.

"AI is developing incredibly fast. The major and difficult challenges encountered in traditional filming can now be easily solved with AI. The little dreams and ideals from childhood can now be turned into reality through AI." another commented.

Experts lauded Seedance 2.0's leapfrog development in temporal and spatial coherence, and its revolutionary optimization of content creating efficiency.

Seedance 2.0 has also sparked discussion overseas. On international social platforms, American entrepreneur Elon Musk reposted a demonstration with the comment "It's happening too fast." Some foreign users who tested the model also expressed amazements online.

Tan Dai, president of ByteDance's cloud computing and AI service brand Volcano Engine, said the market response has been extremely enthusiastic.

"Every day, many users come to try it out, with even some foreigners bringing their own translation software to learn how to use it. Meanwhile, we are continuing to improve its stability and other aspects," said Tan.
