One Chinese national died in Tehran in the military conflict, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Mao Ning said on Monday at a regular press briefing.
"China mourns for our fellow citizen who lost his life when caught in the military conflict in Tehran. We extend sympathies to the family of the victim. The Foreign Ministry has directed the Chinese embassy in Iran to provide assistance for those affected and their families," Mao said.
