A vibrant tapestry of spring blooms is unfolding across China, transforming rural farmlands and ecological parks into major tourist destinations, as local authorities have stepped up their efforts to integrate agriculture, culture and tourism to benefit the locals.

In Yangshuo County, south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, more than 66 hectares of rapeseed flowers are in full bloom along the banks of the Yulong River. The golden blossoms create a stunning contrast against the dark karst peaks and the winding emerald river, with traditional white-walled, grey-tiled houses dotted throughout the picturesque landscape.

On the weekends and during the holidays, the area usually teems with visitors, as families and photography enthusiasts come to capture the fusion of Yangshuo's iconic mountains and the vibrant floral sea.

In Xuanhan County, southwest China's Sichuan Province, over 6,600 hectares of plum blossoms have reached their peak bloom, drawing crowds of visitors.

The county's Miao'an Town, situated at an altitude of about 800 meters, is the core planting area for the region's crisp green plums. The hillsides in the town are blanketed in white blossoms, creating a magnificent spectacle.

Many students have taken advantage of the blooms to participate in outdoor sketching activities, using their brushes to capture the vivid spring scenery on canvas.

Leveraging the blossoms, the local government has launched a series of immersive experiences, deeply integrating the "blossom-viewing economy" with rural revitalization to transform the beautiful landscape into tangible economic benefits.

In Changsha, central China's Hunan Province, about 400,000 tulips are in full bloom in an ecology garden. The park has laid stone platforms and extended its stone paths, so that tourists can capture panoramic views from the elevated platforms or stroll along the paths for close-up photos, without damaging the flower beds.

Beyond the floral displays, visitors can interact with animals like alpacas and peacocks, adding fun for visitors.

More than 100,000 tulips in dozens of varieties are blooming in a scenic spot in Nanling County, east China's Anhui Province, outlining an intoxicating spring scene. Tourists meander through the picturesque sea of flowers, taking photos to commemorate the moment amid the floral fragrance.

"The air is fresh here. The colorful flowers are exceptionally beautiful, with their fragrance filling the air. It's a perfect place to bring family and friends for a visit," said Ma Min, a visitor.

The blooming tulips have also invigorated local cultural and tourism consumption. With over 3,000 daily visitors, the scenic spot has spurred employment for more than 120 nearby villagers.

In Ding'an County, south China's Hainan Province, canna glauca blossoms are in their prime, spreading a vast expanse of pink across the countryside.

"We heard there is a sea of flowers here, so we came to see it. This area is truly stunning," said Zhao Hua, a tourist.

"The air is fresh, and the flowers are vibrant. The environment is exceptionally comfortable," said Yang Yingzhou, another tourist.

The park has also introduced a variety of aromatic plants and launched a series of interactive and immersive activities. Visitors can not only wander through the floral landscapes, but also join hands-on in crafting herbal teas and plant essential oils.
