The resumption of passenger flights between China and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) is an active move to facilitate exchanges, Foreign Ministry spokesman Lin Jian said at a regular press briefing in Beijing on Monday.
Lin made the remarks in response to a media inquiry about Air China's plan to resume weekly flights from Beijing to Pyongyang from March 30 onwards.
"China and the DPRK are friendly and close neighbors. The resumption of passenger flights is an active move to facilitate friendly exchanges between the two peoples," said Lin.
