Chinese President Xi Jinping will hold a welcome ceremony for visiting Tajikistan's President Emomali Rahmon at Tiananmen Square outside the east gate of the Great Hall of the People in Beijing on Tuesday afternoon.
At Xi's invitation, Rahmon is paying a state visit to China from May 11 to 14.

Hong Kong's stock market ended lower Tuesday with the benchmark Hang Seng Index down 0.22 percent to close at 26,347.91 points.
The Hang Seng China Enterprises Index dipped 0.02 percent to end at 8,882.37 points, and the Hang Seng Tech Index declined 0.70 percent to end at 5,070.61 points.
