Hong Kong's stock market ended lower on Friday, with the benchmark Hang Seng Index down 1.15 percent to close at 24,961.95 points. The Hang Seng China Enterprises Index fell 0.77 percent to settle at 8,436.63 points, and the Hang Seng Tech Index fell 1.75 percent to end at 4,888.39 points.

Chinese President Xi Jinping and his wife Peng Liyuan had dinner with Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov and his wife Aigul Japarova at the presidential residence in Bishkek on Sunday evening.
They had a cordial and friendly exchange over dinner in a pleasant and warm atmosphere.
President Xi arrived in Bishkek, the capital city of Kyrgyzstan, on Sunday afternoon for the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit 2026 and a state visit to Kyrgyzstan at the invitation of Japarov.
