The fourth China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE) wrapped up Friday after a five-day run in Beijing, with organizers reporting record-breaking global participation across multiple metrics.
More than 1,200 exhibitors and supply chain partners took part in this year's event, marking the highest number of participating companies since the expo's inception in 2023. Professional attendance also surged, rising 22 percent from the previous edition, while 70 business networking and exchange events were held over the course of the week.
"The expo has connected exhibitors with tens of thousands companies across the industrial chain, surpassing last year's figure," said Li Xingqian, vice chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), at a press conference in Beijing.
The expo's Digital Technology section was upgraded to include a dedicated artificial intelligence zone for the first time, bringing together leading Chinese and foreign AI companies such as Alibaba, Intel, Nvidia, and Qualcomm to present the full AI ecosystem, from data collection and smart computing to real-world applications. A total of 161 new products, technologies, services, and application scenarios made their debut during the event.
According to the Global Supply Chain Promotion Report 2026 and the Global Supply Chain Resilience Index Matrix released by the CCPIT at the expo, the promotion index, connectivity index, and innovation index all reached new highs.
"The momentum for open cooperation continues to strengthen. Companies and institutions from around the world are participating and sharing in China's opportunities created by its high-standard opening-up," said Li.
On the closing day of the event, 115 Chinese and foreign companies and organizations signed exhibitor registration of interest in the fifth CISCE, a 12.7 percent increase from the previous year. Among them, 20 companies signed three-year or five-year exhibition letters of intent.
As the world's first national-level expo focused on supply chains, the event embodies China's commitment to bolstering supply chain resilience and upholding the multilateral trading system.
