The grand finale and annual gala for the second season of "Win in AI+," a large-scale documentary venture capital show, was held in Hangzhou City, east China's Zhejiang Province, on Sunday.

The show, co-hosted by the China Media Group (CMG) and the Hangzhou Municipal People's Government, closely aligned with China's national "AI+" strategy. It scouts top-tier talent and innovative projects in the artificial intelligence field from a global perspective, offering entrepreneurs a platform for innovative services and a stage to pursue their dreams.

After rigorous rounds of competition, 20 AI visionaries stood out from over 1,000 participating enterprises to enter the grand finale. During the gala, the top 10 AI visionaries of the year were ultimately revealed.

Chen Tianrun, an AI visionary participating in the season two of "Win in AI+", reflected on his experience on the program.

"Various stakeholders are currently driving the entire AI industry forward. Throughout this process, we have also gained a deeper understanding and recognition of our own positioning within the industry," Chen said.

Wang Jian, director of the research institution Zhejiang Lab, highlighted the program's expanding reach and its real-world impact.

"Starting from the first season, people might have thought this was just an emerging novelty. But by the second season, you will find that it has actually permeated every aspect of our society, especially manufacturing. I believe this reflects the overall development of 'AI+' in China," he said.

The gala also featured a high-profile investment signing session, where multiple leading domestic investment institutions reached strategic partnerships with representatives of AI visionary enterprises. A total of 36 investment intentions were secured, with a combined intended value of 1.23 billion yuan, and 13 AI companies signed agreements to establish operations in Hangzhou.

Xuanwu Lake Park, one of Nanjing's most iconic scenic spots, has broken its traditional summer slump this year by tapping into the nighttime economy, with evening visitor numbers surging over 30 percent year on year in July.

The park is one of the iconic attractions in Nanjing, capital of east China's Jiangsu Province.

In previous years, the height of summer when the heat was at its peak was the park's off-season.

This summer, however, the park has seen a steady stream of visitors every evening.

As the sun sets and the daytime heat slowly dissipates, the entrances to Xuanwu Lake Park experience a surge in visitor traffic.

By 20:00, some local residents who love to sing, as well as bands, bring their own portable stereos to the park to perform.

Joining in a sing-along has become the main reason for many people to visit the park at night.

To offer residents and visitors an even richer experience, the park hosts a variety of nightly performances, including water-screen movies and holographic light shows.

Operating hours for many park attractions have also been extended; boat tours and sightseeing buses, which previously ended at 17:00 now run until 21:30.

Rong Feixia, director of Xuanwu Lake Park Management Office, said these measures have injected new vitality into the park, transforming it into a bustling nighttime destination.

"Our total number of nighttime visitors throughout July increased by over 30 percent year on year. Revenue from cultural and creative stores rose by 32.5 percent year over year and overall revenue from our self-operated projects including boat tours, sightseeing buses, and retail businesses around the lake grew by approximately 10 percent," she said.
