China and Thailand have kicked off preparatory training for the "Falcon Strike 2026" joint air force exercise at Udorn Royal Thai Air Force Base.
The two sides will carry out air defense, humanitarian assistance and disaster relief exercises during the joint exercise, a Chinese defense spokesperson said last month.
It is the ninth training event of its kind between the two air forces and is aimed at further deepening traditional friendship and practical cooperation between China and Thailand, according to the Chinese defense spokesperson.
