China is willing to work with other countries to continue dialogue and cooperation in cutting-edge fields, promoting innovation dividends to benefit the whole of humanity, Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesman Lin Jian said at a regular press briefing in Beijing on Tuesday.

Lin responded to a media query about China's recent hosting of the 2026 World Robot Conference in Beijing and the opening of the second World Humanoid Robot Games (WHRG) at the National Speed Skating Oval.

"China's efforts to develop new quality productive forces and advance scientific and technological innovation have always been underpinned by openness, cooperation, mutual benefit and win-win outcomes, rather than artificial barriers or closed and exclusive development," Lin said.

"China is willing to work with countries around the world to continue dialogue and cooperation in cutting-edge fields such as artificial intelligence and humanoid AI, turning 'Created in China' and 'Intelligent Manufacturing in China' into genuine drivers of common development. By fostering technological connectivity, joint standard-building, and market-sharing, China aims to tap into cooperation potential and ensure innovation dividends to benefit all of humanity," Lin noted.
