Iran's Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei issued a written statement on Friday calling for domestic innovation and greater economic resilience to combat intensifying U.S. and Israeli sanctions, while strictly banning any actions that undermine social cohesion.
In the statement, Khamenei praised the government's efforts in face of mounting U.S. economic blockades.
He urged the nation to continue to strive, innovate, and demonstrate its strength and power under the current complex situation.
Khamenei said that Iranian authorities should prioritize economies and public livelihoods, boost domestic production, and systematically reduce the dominance of the U.S. dollar within the national economy.
He also called for efforts to gradually eliminate the negative factors in the national economy.
Khamenei also emphasized the need to leverage new technologies across the industrial, agricultural, cultural, and educational sectors to promote the nation's development and progress.
He urged Iranian authorities to avoid any discouraging statements that would weaken national and public motivation, stressing that any behavior or speech damaging to national social cohesion is strictly prohibited.

Multiple aircraft, including helicopters and drones, have been used to send relief supplies to rescuers who are in the worst-hit areas after a devastating mudslide struck the Gyirong Port on the China-Nepal border in southwest China's Xizang Autonomous Region on Wednesday.
The mudslide, which occurred on the Nepalese side, struck the Gyirong Port in Gyirong County of Xizang on Wednesday morning, causing heavy casualties and massive destruction. As of 01:00 on Saturday, seven people had been killed and 554 others remained missing after the mudslide on the Chinese side, according to the region's emergency management department.
At 13:32 on Saturday, two helicopters dispatched by the People's Liberation Army Xizang Military Area Command departed from an airport in Xigaza City to send relief supplies, including food, medicine and rescue equipment, to rescuers in the worst-hit areas.
After flying over a mountain pass at an altitude of more than 5,000 meters and overcoming meteorological difficulties such as low-altitude, thick cloud and strong air currents, the helicopters arrived at the disaster-stricken area of the Gyirong Port at 15:25, sending relief supplies to rescuers there.
At around 04:00 on Saturday, multiple drones were dispatched by the Xizang Fire and Rescue Corps to send around 100 sets of relief supplies to rescuers to support their search and rescue operations.
