China's direct investment stock in BRICS countries had reached 82 billion U.S. dollars by the end of 2025, the Ministry of Commerce said.

China's direct investment in BRICS countries has grown steadily in recent years. In the first seven months of this year, China's direct investment in BRICS countries amounted to about four billion U.S. dollars, mainly directed to manufacturing, construction and power sectors.

China's cooperation with other BRICS countries on major infrastructure projects and aid programs has yielded positive outcomes.

The MISRSAT-2, Egypt's first domestically assembled remote sensing satellite, was successfully launched and carried into orbit on December 4, 2023, by China's Long March-2C carrier rocket.

The MISRSAT-2 and Egypt's satellite assembly, integration and testing center have filled gaps in Egypt's ground-based satellite infrastructure, making Egypt the first African country with satellite assembly, integration and testing capabilities.

The program helps Egypt strengthen its capacity for land and resource surveys and environmental disaster monitoring and assessment.

Under South-South cooperation, China has carried out multiple projects with international organizations including the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) to support children's health, agricultural modernization and food security.

Over the past five years, China has trained more than 30,000 professionals for BRICS countries, including Egypt, Iran, Ethiopia, Indonesia, South Africa and Brazil, in commerce, health, agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry and fisheries, and information technology, providing talent support for the modernization of BRICS countries.
