Nanjing, in Jiangsu Province, launched a large-scale autumn job fair, bringing together more than 8,000 employers both online and offline and attracting numerous fresh graduate job seekers.

The fair plans to offer more than 110,000 positions, targeting college graduates nationwide and high-level talent from home and abroad.

Available jobs cover traditional industries, emerging industries, and cutting-edge future industries such as artificial intelligence. Notably, vacancies in machinery, electrical engineering and automation, intelligent manufacturing, and robotics are plentiful, reflecting strong demand for talent among relevant enterprises.

"I am a postgraduate student majoring in control engineering, and I am seeking a job related to robotics. There are quite a lot of such positions available here," said Zhu Haoran, a job seeker at the fair.

In terms of remuneration, participating employers are offering an average annual salary of 164,000 yuan (about 24,490 U.S. dollars). Of all vacancies, 71.6 percent offer an annual salary of no less than 100,000 yuan, and 26.3 percent offer 200,000 yuan or more.

According to an official from the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security (MOHRSS), it will organize targeted job fairs in cities with a large concentration of universities and a high number of graduates.

"We will focus on key sectors such as the digital economy, green economy and low-altitude economy, as well as industries including advanced manufacturing and modern services, and launch industry-specific job fairs. We will organize regional job fairs in line with national regional development strategies, and hold special events for urgently needed talents to meet the demand for key professionals in key industries and sectors in local areas," said Yang Hong, deputy director of the graduate employment service department of the National Talent Mobility Center under MOHRSS.
