China always places its growth within the global development framework while upholding the principle of mutual benefit, all-win outcome and common development, a Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman said on Wednesday, in replying to a media query on the release of the China Development Report 2026 earlier in the day.

The China Development Report 2026, released by the Development Research Center of the State Council, outlines achievements in Chinese modernization and global contributions.

"China's high-quality development provides growth opportunities for the world. China boasts 25 of the world's Top 100 innovation clusters, helping make cutting-edge technology products more accessible and affordable by other nations while building a shared 'digital ladder' for common advancement by all countries. China's photovoltaic power generation capacity has surpassed coal power for the first time, with its green transition aiding global efforts to combat climate change and alleviate energy crises," sid Guo Jiakun, the spokesman, at a press conference in Beijing.

"In promoting high-level opening up, China hosts events such as the China International Supply Chain Expo, the China International Fair for Trade and Services, the Global Digital Trade Expo, and the China International Import Expo, providing vast market space and investment opportunities for all countries," he said.

"China always places its own development within the coordinate system of global development, upholding the principle of mutual benefit, all-win outcome and common development, and driving countries to jointly move toward modernization through Chinese modernization," said the spokesman.

China and Russia will deepen comprehensive strategic coordination and jointly open up an even broader prospect for bilateral ties, Foreign Ministry spokesman Guo Jiakun said on Wednesday when expressing China's expectations for Sino-Russia relations in the future.

Oct 2 marks the 77th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Russia.

"After 77 years of going through winds and rains together, China and Russia are all the more committed to lasting good-neighborliness and friendship, comprehensive strategic coordination, and mutual benefit and win-win cooperation in their bilateral ties, setting a stellar example of a new type of international relations," Guo said at a regular press briefing in Beijing.

"President Xi Jinping and President Vladimir Putin met twice this year in Beijing in May and in Bishkek in August, leading China-Russia relations into a new stage with higher-quality and faster development. We are confident that, under the guidance of the two leaders, China and Russia will remain true to the founding vision of the diplomatic ties and deepen our comprehensive strategic coordination. We will make advancing the development and revitalization of our respective countries an important mission, and shoulder our responsibilities as major countries by reforming and improving global governance, so as to open up an even broader prospect for China-Russia relations," he continued.
