China's film box office grossed 1.165 billion yuan (over 175 million U.S. dollars) during the seven-day National Day holiday, driven largely by a strong lineup of domestic productions, official data showed on Thursday.

During the holiday season, domestic crime drama "Traces of Justice" topped the box office. The film was followed by domestic comedy "Mr. and Mrs. Pardon," and imported horror title "Resident Evil." The anti-war film "Once Upon a Time in the Middle East," and the family animation "Peppa Pig: Perfect Holiday" completed the top 5 chart.
