Forthright Securities Debuts at Hong Kong FinTech Week 2026, Showcasing Smart Investment Terminal

HONG KONG, Nov. 3, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Forthright Securities Company Limited ("Forthright Securities") made its debut this week as a Gold Sponsor of Hong Kong FinTech Week x StartmeupHK 2026, with the Forthright Smart Investment Terminal at the centre of its booth. Through live demonstrations, the company showed how AI, in-depth research and dedicated advisory services work together to help individual investors access and understand market information more efficiently.

During the main conference, Richard Zhengwei He, CEO of Forthright Financial and Forthright Securities, spoke on the first day at the AI in Finance Forum session "Agentic Alpha: The Future of Dynamic Wealth", joining wealth-management leaders from top-tier financial institutions to discuss how AI is moving wealth management towards continuous, personalised engagement. Agentic AI is, in his view, more advanced than general-purpose large language models. "The key difference is that it is really goal-based," he said, adding that such systems will change how financial institutions work with clients in the short term. "In the longer term, I don't see any inherent conflict between the financial institutions and agentic AI, which only brings reliable, understandable and suitable wealth guidance to people who were previously excluded from the financial system." Professional market data terminals were once reserved for institutional and wealth clients; agentic AI now helps individual investors cross-check company results, market pricing and research, and monitor their portfolios. AI, he said, handles the data and the heavy lifting, while advisers bring judgement and context – the two working together rather than one replacing the other.

AI tools, in-depth research and advice on one device

The Forthright Smart Investment Terminal is a dedicated investment tablet for experienced individual investors who value professional tools and efficient strategy reference. It brings AI-powered analysis, real-time market support and analytical tools together with Forthright's professional investment research and advisory services, with further features to be added over time.

Exclusive strategy research is made available first on the terminal, which connects directly with Forthright's advisory and in-depth research services. The terminal supports investment analysis and assessment, working alongside professional investment advisers rather than replacing them.

Proven AI usage, built into the terminal

Momentum behind the terminal builds on proven adoption of Forthright's existing AI tools. Since the company rolled out its AI services, the three most-used features – XiaoFang AI Assistant, AI Market Watch and Account Analysis – have each reached more than 80% of clients, and the AI services have been credited with lifting client retention and engagement.

Behind the terminal sits Forthright's full AI capability stack, built in three layers: connected touchpoints spanning the SmartInvest App, the Smart Investment Terminal, the web platform and the physical flagship store; proprietary AI agents powering four product lines across assistant, market, stock-diagnosis and strategy services; and a dual-track model foundation combining a purpose-built financial large language model with leading general models, with data governance and compliance checks running end-to-end.

At its booth, Forthright invited visitors to experience the Smart Investment Terminal through live demonstrations and conversations with client managers, alongside interactive activities that brought the brand to life for investors and industry participants. Forthright's participation reflects its continued development of an "AI + Advisory" service model in Hong Kong, bringing together its three core pillars of Dedicated Advisory, In-Depth Research and AI-Driven Investing. The company aims to connect digital tools with professional support throughout the investment experience.

NINGBO, China, Nov. 4, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- The "2026 Global Mayors Dialogue • Ningbo" is being held in Ningbo, Zhejiang province, from Nov. 2 to 5. Mayors and mayoral representatives from 20 cities in 15 countries and regions across five continents, along with representatives of international organizations and enterprises, have gathered in the city to explore opportunities for openness and deepen practical cooperation.

Participants included Wayne Brown, mayor of Auckland, New Zealand; Enrico Ricci, a representative of the mayor of Florence, Italy; Ahmed Wazeery, secretary-general of Suez Governorate, Egypt; and the mayors of three cities in Lebanon. Representatives of international organizations, including the United Nations Global Compact China and the BRICS New Development Bank, also attended.

Under the theme "Openness and Connectivity for Shared Opportunities," the event features a main mayoral dialogue, two scenario dialogues, and three activities focused on civilizational exchange and mutual learning. During the event, guests visited Ningbo-Zhoushan Port, the world's largest port by throughput, as well as Ningbo Yaji Logistics Co., Ltd., Ningbo PIA Automation Holding Corp., Peacebird Group, Dongqian Lake and the Old Bund. At the forefront of intelligent port logistics and in smart workshops where embodied robots are produced, they explored how cities can achieve high-level openness and identify future opportunities.

At the main venue, 14 cooperation projects were signed in areas including friendly exchanges, economic and trade cooperation, science and technology education, and cultural tourism. They included the establishment of friendly exchange relations between Yuyao City in Zhejiang and Errachidia, Morocco, and between Yinzhou District of Ningbo and the Canton of Saint-Étienne-du-Rouvray, France. The "Ningbo Consensus on Collaborative Development" was also released, calling on cities to uphold openness and connectivity, deepen industrial collaboration, promote people-to-people ties, and work together to maintain the stability and smooth flow of industrial and supply chains.

Joachim Moyse, vice president of the Rouen Metropolitan Area and mayor of the Canton of Saint-Étienne-du-Rouvray, France, said: "When the world makes it easy for people to lose hope, we must sit down together all the more and jointly build a framework for peace. Because peace is the great prerequisite for all cooperation." He also wanted to take a "gift" home from Ningbo: the city's broad vision of caring for all social strata and building the city around people's needs. Moyse said this is precisely the "Chinese experience" he wants to bring back to France and share with his compatriots.

Located in eastern Zhejiang, Ningbo is home to Ningbo-Zhoushan Port, the world's largest port. It is also an international gateway for openness and an advanced manufacturing base, long known by the saying, "Books preserve the past and present, and the port connects the world." The event features a seven-section exhibition, "Ningbo and the World: Global Chinese Culture with Overseas Ningbo Companies," showcasing Ningbo's achievements in promoting two-way economic and trade connectivity and people-to-people ties, with culture as the bond, enterprises as the mainstay and the port as the foundation. At the Night of Ningbo event, Ningbo's Siming Library and classic books selected by visitors are placed together in the Tianyi Pavilion, one of the world's three oldest family libraries, bearing witness to friendships between cities that span mountains and seas.
