The China-Bangladesh-Pakistan Trilateral Vice Foreign Minister/Foreign Secretary meeting achieved outcomes in four areas, said Foreign Ministry spokesman Guo Jiakun in Beijing on Monday.

Speaking at a press briefing, Guo briefed the media on the results of the meeting held in Kunming, capital of southwest China's Yunnan Province.

"The China-Bangladesh-Pakistan Trilateral Vice Foreign Minister/Foreign Secretary meeting was held in Kunming, Yunnan on June 19. Bangladesh and Pakistan are both good neighbors, good friends, and good partners of China, and important partners in high-quality Belt and Road cooperation. As important members of the Global South and important countries in the region, all three countries face the mission of achieving national rejuvenation and modernization," said Guo.

He said the trilateral cooperation between China, Bangladesh, and Pakistan is in line with the common interests of the people of the three countries, and it is conducive to maintaining regional peace and stability, as well as promoting development and prosperity.

"The meeting achieved results in four aspects. First, the three sides unanimously agreed to carry out cooperation based on the principles of good-neighborliness and friendship, equality and mutual trust, openness and inclusiveness, seeking common development, and win-win cooperation, focusing on promoting economic development and improving people's livelihoods. Second, the three sides agreed to explore and implement cooperation projects in 12 fields -- industry, trade, oceans, water resources, climate change, agriculture, human resources, think tanks, health, education, culture, and youth," said Guo.

"Third, the three sides will establish working groups at the director-general level to implement the consensus reached at this meeting and translate the vision for cooperation into tangible outcomes. Fourth, the trilateral cooperation upholds true multilateralism and open regionalism, committed to enhancing the well-being of the people in the region without targeting any third party." he said.

China exported 187 high-end liquid cargo vessels in the first five months of 2026, with a total value exceeding 64.3 billion yuan (about 9.49 billion U.S. dollars), up 188.8 percent year-on-year, according to the latest data.

Liquid cargo vessels are specially designed for transporting crude oil and liquefied natural gas (LNG), ranking among the ship categories with the highest added value in the maritime industry. Recently, two large-scale LNG vessels, each with a capacity of 174,000 cubic meters and built by Hudong-Zhonghua Shipbuilding (Group) Co., Ltd. under China State Shipbuilding Corporation (CSSC), were officially delivered in Shanghai. "Our clients are the world's leading oil and gas companies. Our current order book for LNG carriers accounts for more than 20 percent of the global market, and we are basically able to deliver one vessel per month," said Wang Jiaying, general manager assistant at the shipbuilding group.

In the same period, the country exported a total of 2,637 vessels, with a total value exceeding 170 billion yuan (about 25.09 billion U.S. dollars), up 22.5 percent year-on-year.
