BERLIN, Sept. 4, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Europe is at the forefront of the digital-wellness movement, with parents increasingly seeking technology that balances innovation with children's wellbeing. Responding to this need, TCL is launching the TCL MOVETIME MT48, a brand-new safety-enhanced kids' smartwatch that combines state-of-the-art Dual Frequency GPS (L1+L5) high precision positioning, always-online 4G communication, and a suite of kid-friendly features to help parents stay connected and give children more freedom to explore safely. Rooted in TCL's commitment to helping kids stay safer while embracing a bigger world, it's a playful partner for kids to evoke creativity and a reliable helper for parents.

Precise Safety and Reliable Connection Gives Parents Greater Peace of Mind

A child's safety is every parent's top priority. For parents, ensuring their children are always within reach brings about invaluable peace of mind. That's where the MT48 steps in, with exceptional high-precision Dual Frequency GPS (L1+L5) for next-level location accuracy, robust anti-interference capabilities to overcome disruptions from dense urban areas or challenging environments, real-time navigation, and fast tracking with 1-second refresh rate, the MT48 proves to be a trusted helper to ensure children's safety. Through the dedicated TCL Connect App, parents can effortlessly check their child's location in real time, trace location history, set customized safe zones, and receive instant alerts once their child leaves these areas. The app also supports third-party map apps, allowing parents to navigate directly to their child's location when needed.

Staying connected with children gives parents greatest comfort. With diverse always-online communication methods, the MT48 supports crystal-clear 4G video calls, VoLTE calls, instant voice messages, SMS texting, photo sharing, and group chats. Whether it's a quick "I'm safe" message or a real-time video check-in, communication is effortless and reliable. In emergencies, a one-tap SOS function instantly shares the live location and initiates calls, ensuring help arrives without delay.

The MT48 delivers up to 2.5 days of battery life on a single charge and an impressive 900mAh high-capacity battery, while IP68 and 2ATM water resistance ensures it can handle outdoor play and in-water situations like swimming with ease. The resilience and durability allow children to play freely, explore confidently, and still stay safely connected to their parents.

Building Healthy Digital Habits and Kids-safe AI Integration

The struggle to utilizing electronic devices to keep children connected while preventing them from digital addiction is a real headache for parents. The MT48 is thoughtfully designed to promote healthy digital habits and safe use from an early age. School Mode reduces distractions during class by muting notifications and limiting non-essential functions such as camera, games and group chats, while Reminder helps children keep healthy schedules for bedtime, homework, and daily routines.

For creative play, the kids-safe AI turns voice prompts into funny, styled images, sparking imagination within a safe and age-appropriate environment, while interactive watch faces featuring motion-sensing, step-tracking as well as customized wallpapers let children personalize their device in playful ways. Children can easily add friends by shaking their device with parents' approval, ensuring they connect only with trusted friends and family. Together, these features foster a healthier digital environment that nurtures focus, sparks creativity, and safeguards children as they grow alongside technology.

Innovative Design That Spurs Curiosity

Drawing on the magic of the cosmic universe, the TCL MOVETIME MT48 invites children to explore, learn, and imagine without limits. A single tap turns the smartwatch into a "spaceship cockpit," revealing an AI‑crafted universe of discovery. Offered in Galactic Blue, Cosmic Pink, Lunar Cream, and Nebula Grey, it brings the wonder of the stars to every young adventurer's wrist.

Tech for Good Commitment

TCL is also introducing the TCL NXTPAPER 5G Junior, a dedicated smartphone for younger users that combines NXTPAPER's industry-leading eye-care display with self-developed Digital Detox Mode for distraction-free viewing experience. The exclusive parental guidance powered by Google Family Link ensures children's safety through pure content filter, real-time location tracking, and screen time and App control, giving children freedom to explore the digital world while giving parents peace of mind and full control.

These launches bring TCL's "Technology for Good" vision to life, offering solutions that help children use technology safely, comfortably, and responsibly in today's connected world.

Over 15,000 visitors to the INCHEON–IFEZ Booth; IFEZ supported a record 50 innovation companies participating in CES 2026.
Participating companies secure a foundation for global expansion, including 20 MoU signings.

INCHEON, South Korea, Jan. 16, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- The Incheon Free Economic Zone (IFEZ) announced the successful operation of the INCHEON–IFEZ Booth at CES 2026, presenting IFEZ's future-city vision and the technologies of Incheon-based innovators to a global audience.

Under the theme "Destination Incheon — From Smart City to AI City," the booth highlighted a sustainable urban future enabled by Incheon companies' innovations and drew more than 15,000 visitors, according to IFEZ.

During CES 2026, IFEZ also met with the Fairfax County Economic Development Authority (FCEDA) to discuss support measures and collaboration models for helping Incheon startups enter the U.S. market. The two sides plan to develop practical joint programs through continued cooperation.

IFEZ supported a record 50 companies at CES 2026 across multiple participation tracks, dividing them across various exhibition areas: 10 companies in the 'INCHEON-IFEZ' Booth at the Las Vegas Convention Center, 10 in the Korea pavilion (KOTRA) at the Eureka Park, 6 in the Global Pavilion, and 15 as the Incheon Startup Park Delegation and 10 Innovation Award showcase participants.

These companies achieved record-breaking results, conducting 1,419 business consultations with overseas buyers and investors, with the estimated value of export consultations reaching $560 million—more than 400 additional meetings compared to last year. In addition, nine companies signed 20 MOUs, building momentum for global expansion and investment opportunities.

Leadpoint System, a smart manufacturing and industrial automation solutions provider, signed an MOU with Webtronic Labs, a U.S.-based technology R&D company.

emCT, which specializes in fire detection and safety management solutions, signed an MOU with Texas Legacy Realty, a Texas-based real estate development and operations company, to pursue collaboration on applying fire safety and "safe zone" solutions in commercial and residential buildings.

Medicell Healthcare, a regenerative medicine and bio-healthcare solutions company, signed an MOU with the City of Phoenix, Arizona's largest city, and discussed cooperation on technology collaboration and local proof-of-concept initiatives in public healthcare.

IFEZ said 14 supported companies earned 17 CES Innovation Awards, the highest total to date for Incheon, drawing strong interest from global buyers and investors. Deep Fusion AI received a Best of Innovation honor for its radar-based sensor-fusion AI technology, gaining attention in next-generation autonomous driving and robotic perception.

Mayor Yoo Jeong-bok said the CES participation advanced the Incheon–IFEZ AI City vision on the global stage and pledged continued support to expand Incheon companies' international reach and strengthen Incheon as a global business hub.
