International gold and silver prices fell on Monday.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, gold futures for August delivery dropped 1.21 percent to settle at 4,514.8 U.S. dollars per ounce, while silver futures for July delivery edged down 0.58 percent to close at 75.15 dollars per ounce.

European stocks ended lower across the board on Monday.
The benchmark FTSE 100 Index in London fell 0.68 percent to close at 10,338.95 points. France's CAC 40 index dropped 0.45 percent to finish at 8,146.59 points. Germany's DAX index declined 0.40 percent to end the session at 25,003.04 points.
