China launched cultural events as the guest of honor of the 39th Moscow International Book Fair on Wednesday, presenting a diverse collection of Chinese publications.
The Chinese pavilion offers nearly 5,000 volumes of selected books, including multilingual publications of President Xi Jinping's major works.
During the book fair, China will host over 40 cultural events, including forum on China-Russia civilization exchanges, copyright negotiation sessions, new book launches, and dialogues between scholars.
The Chinese pavilion will also feature special exhibitions on traditional Chinese paintings, contemporary Chinese and Russian literary works, and Chinese classics and online literature.
Launched in 1977, the Moscow International Book Fair is one of the most important events in Russia's book industry. This year's fair runs from Wednesday to Sunday.
