HONG KONG, Sept. 29, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- On September 25, 2026, Abercrombie & Fitch ("Abercrombie"), a division of Abercrombie & Fitch Co. (NYSE: ANF), unveiled a refreshed shopping experience at its existing Harbour City store in Hong Kong. The store debuts Abercrombie & Fitch's first "Heritage Meets Modern" design concept in APAC, blending archival storytelling and updated designs in a way that honors the brand's heritage, while further establishing the retailer as an effortless and elevated American lifestyle brand.
Steven Sare, the Managing Director of APAC at Abercrombie & Fitch Co., attended the opening ceremony and shared the vision behind the brand's choice of location. Together with celebrity Laurinda Ho, a Chinese female entrepreneur, philanthropist, and fashion icon, he officiated the ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the official debut of the new concept.
"We are delighted to bring this new expression of Abercrombie to Harbour City, one of Asia's most dynamic retail destinations," said Steven Sare. "Hong Kong has always been a city we cherish, a place where tradition and innovation live side by side, and that spirit is exactly what our 'Heritage Meets Modern' concept celebrates. I could not imagine a better home in APAC to introduce it: our 134-year legacy meeting the energy of Victoria Harbour, in a store created for how our customers live and shop today. We look forward to welcoming customers from Hong Kong and around the world for many years to come."
Carrying the same design philosophy introduced at Abercrombie's new SoHo store in New York City, the refreshed Harbour City store goes beyond the conventional retail format to create an immersive destination for fashion, lifestyle and self-expression. The concept marks a new chapter for Abercrombie & Fitch, while underscoring the brand's continued momentum and commitment to the APAC market.
Store interiors feature meticulously curated apparel zones that link together to shape a fluid shopping journey, naturally bridging Abercrombie & Fitch's heritage with its modern-day evolution. Warm wood tones and natural marble create a welcoming setting with depth and texture throughout the product displays. Heritage-inspired furnishings throughout the space also reflect the brand's longstanding connection to sporting, travel and discovery, while black-and-white floor tiles inspired patterned tiles, custom millwork and soft lighting bring heritage and modern design together, extending the store's concept into an interior that complements the new season's collection, A dedicated space in the fitting room area offers views of Victoria Harbour, inviting customers to pause and enjoy the waterfront between trying on looks. The experience brings a sense of getaway to shopping. A moment when getting away feels like getting back to yourself.
The store offers an expanded shopping experience featuring a broad assortment of men's and women's product, from Abercrombie's signature denim to lifestyle products. An open layout encourages customers to explore new ways of mixing and matching. Capturing the spirit of autumn layering, Laurinda Ho shared styling tips with customers at the opening event. The fall & holiday collection features a mix of plaids, patterned prints, and layered outerwear, highlighting the vintage, elevated feel of the Heritage style. The Modern style features clean silhouettes and rich fabrics that move effortlessly from work hours to play hours. Cozy Fit offers oversized cuts and relaxed proportions that balance comfort with personal style. A&F's American denim, featuring new fits and colors, is a fashion must-have. Throughout the store, versatile pieces adapt to any occasion.
To celebrate the opening, Abercrombie and COA, one of Hong Kong's most renowned bars, presented A&F "Heritage & Modern" brand night, bringing friends & media together in Hong Kong during the Mid-Autumn Festival. Marking a decade of momentum, the 10th edition of Coway Run continues to inspire Malaysians to pursue continuous growth and move forward without limits
KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia, Sept. 29, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Coway, the Best Life Solution Company, brought together more than 11,000 participants at Stadium Merdeka for the 10th edition of Coway Run 2026, a milestone event that celebrated a decade of inspiring Malaysians to embrace healthier lifestyles, push beyond their perceived limits and unlock their full potential.
Fuelled by the excitement of Coway Malaysia's 20th anniversary, this year's event carried the theme Forward Without Limits, reflecting Coway's belief that growth is an ongoing journey and that every individual has the ability to achieve more through determination, perseverance and continuous self-improvement. More than a running event, Coway Run 2026 served as a platform for people from all walks of life to challenge themselves, celebrate personal milestones and take meaningful steps towards becoming the best versions of themselves.
Janice Tan, Group Manager of Marketing Division of Coway Malaysia said, "This year's Coway Run holds special significance as we celebrate both 20 years of Coway in Malaysia and 10 years of Coway Run. Over the past decade, we have seen individuals from all backgrounds come together, set new goals and push beyond what they thought was possible. At Coway, we believe that everyone possesses untapped potential, and Coway Run was created to inspire people to take that first step towards unlocking it."
"The theme 'Forward Without Limits' reflects our conviction that progress is not defined by perfect conditions, but by the courage and determination to keep moving forward despite the obstacles along the way. Even in the rain, we saw many runners choosing to persevere and complete their journey, embodying the very spirit of resilience that this year's event set out to celebrate. It was inspiring to see thousands of Malaysians come together, not only to challenge themselves but also support a cause that creates a meaningful impact for communities in need," she added.
With the health and safety of participants as the highest priority, Coway Run 2026 took an unexpected turn this year as the event adapted to the challenges posed by the weather and ongoing haze situation. Despite the change in format, participants from all four categories, including the 10KM Run, and modified 30KM Run, 5KM Run and 5KM Kids Run, came together with community spirit, embodying the "Forward Without Limits" philosophy.
Throughout the day, the atmosphere extended beyond the race routes as participants, families and supporters immersed themselves in a vibrant race village featuring interactive activities, engaging experiences and family-friendly entertainment. The event embodied Coway's commitment to making healthy living both accessible and enjoyable, while creating opportunities for meaningful connections among communities.
Inside Stadium Merdeka, visitors enjoyed a special performance by Coway's Biddy Bear mascot and dancers, followed by a live performance and exclusive meet-and-greet with popular Malaysian singer and actor Hael Husaini. Participants could also complete eight game stations to enter a grand prize lucky draw, with 10 winners taking home either a BEREX Massage Bed or BEREX Pebble Chair, while limited-edition Coway Biddy Bear hand towels were available to be won through on-ground games.
In keeping with Coway's mission of helping people live healthier and happier lives, Coway Run 2026 continued to create impact beyond race day. RM10 from every ticket sold will be channeled towards the Coway Happy Water Project, an initiative dedicated to providing underserved communities with access to clean water. Through the collective efforts of participants, every registration contributed towards improving quality of life for communities in need and supporting a future where access to essential resources is within reach for all.
Beyond making a meaningful difference for communities, Coway Run 2026 celebrated the perseverance and resilience demonstrated by participants in the face of unexpected circumstances. Reflecting the event's "Forward Without Limits" philosophy, runners continued to push forward and delivered inspiring performances across the competitive categories.
In the Men's Open Malaysian category of the modified 30KM Run, conducted over a 10KM route, Anas Bin Rosli recorded the fastest finishing time of 00:36:27, while Michelle Ng claimed the Women's Open Malaysian title with a time of 00:54:24. In the 10KM category, Khairul Hazwan secured first place in the Men's Open Malaysian division with a time of 00:40:46, while Ee Pui Yin topped the Women's Open Malaysian category with a finishing time of 00:43:27.
