目前，外界尚無法確認馬斯克這條推文的真實用意。不過，對於這首曹植的《七步詩》，推特上的網友倒是爭論得格外熱鬧。有網友第一時間送上了谷歌翻譯：
還有網友在糾結這條推文和豆子的關係：
一位中國網友試圖解釋馬斯克發這首詩的用意：Humans are from the sameancestor, why are we so eager to destroy each other? （人類同屬一個祖先，為何我們要自相殘殺？）
立刻有另外一位網友回應說：「這個翻譯不對，這首詩明明說的是豆子的事兒！」（That's not thetranslation... It says something about beans!）
有網友旁觀道：「真是有趣的外星密碼。」
這位網友腦洞大開地說：「我認為這首詩是在說如何將吃剩的南瓜做成節日燉肉。」

許多網友在下面分享自己喜愛的中國古詩詞和詩人，被提到最多的是「詩仙」李白和“詩聖”杜甫。
有一位外國網友分享了鄰居送他李白詩集的故事：
I was about 13 and there was anolder Dutch woman who lived alone on a farm near where I grew up. She was ahighly cultured and intelligent person who loved poetry and literature who justseemed to know extraordinary detail about everything.
