綜合外媒報導，美國一名女子羅克斯（Carly Roxx）日前清晨開車準備上班時，突然聽見車底傳出奇怪「敲擊聲」，下車查看後發現一隻毛茸茸的小動物受困車底，頭部緊緊卡在塑膠罐內，疑呼吸困難，雙爪不斷掙扎，她見狀急忙回家叫男友文斯（Vince）來幫忙。

男友鋸開罐口助小動物脫困
文斯取來配有特製刀片的震動鋸，小心翼翼切開塑膠罐的罐口，以免傷及小動物。救援過程中，2人既緊張又心疼，擔心小動物因驚恐而掙扎。幸運地是，他最終成功破除罐子助小動物脫困。

原來是一隻「土撥鼠」
起初，2人以為是流浪貓或流浪狗受困，直至罐子移除才發現「真身」其實是一隻土撥鼠，讓他們感到驚訝並直呼神奇。脫困後，土撥鼠迅速逃離現場，而那個沾有花生醬的塑膠罐也被妥善棄置，以免再危及其他動物。

事後，羅克斯將救援片段上載至TikTok帳號「@carly.roxx」，引來大批網民留言表示，「我真的以為是一隻幼犬或是幼貓受困，居然是土撥鼠我好驚訝」、「謝謝你們的善心，拯救了小動物」、「所以才說這種廢棄罐子不要亂扔，要做好資源回收」、「人類亂丟垃圾往往害到都是小動物」。
