日本關東地區星期四(9月11日)下午落暴雨，交通大受影響，3700多戶一度停電。

氣象廳表示，東京都目黑區綠丘一小時錄得134毫米雨量，向東京都多處發布破創紀錄短時間強降雨預警，呼籲民眾警惕山泥傾瀉、城市內澇、河流洪災等。

國土交通省通報，東京羽田機場大量航班延誤，橫須賀線、南武線等多條鐵路一度停運。東京澀谷區部分道路水浸，多條河流水位急劇上升。

央視新聞報道，宋卡府主要城市合艾市自上週末起持續降雨，單在過去的星期五降雨量達335毫米，創該市近三個世紀以來單日降雨量最高紀錄。電視顯示洪水淹浸合艾市多條街道，多架汽車被沖走，不少人緊抱水上漂浮的發泡膠箱當做救生圈。救援人員出動橡皮艇、水上單車、軍用卡車等交通工具，協助疏散災民。
