來自薩默塞特郡約維爾的10歲女孩Summer Lloyd近日寫信給五年前去世的爸爸，原本用氣球將信送上天國，可惜在爸爸忌日不小心遺失信件，只能無奈放走無信的氣球。

Summer的信件在當地一間酒吧附近的停車場遺失，有好心人撿到轉交給一位房東。房東被信中Summer對爸爸的心聲所感動，拍照上載facebook，希望通過網絡尋回失主。幾經網民轉發，好心房東最終將信件交回Summer手中，她送花答謝房東後說，會將信件放入相框中紀念。

Summer媽媽說，女兒多年來一直忍受思念爸爸之苦，惟有通過書信讓自己釋懷，尋回遺失的信件對女兒意義重大，非常感謝小鎮上的好心人。

Dear Daddy,
I love you. I miss you so much and wish you were here right now! At night I sometimes look at the sky and make a wish and I make a wish on the brightest star I see and I believe it is you.
I always think of you on your birthday, father’s day, my birthday and Christmas and always after. Happy some days sad the other but right now I can feel you in my heart and you are always in my mind but I just wish I could have said one last goodbye and one last hug before you took your journey to your new home in heaven.
I know all my brothers and sisters and everyone in our familys (sic) miss you every day too and wish you were still here but until we meet again, or talk again I will leave you to rest.
