格林美獎首設亞洲流行音樂獎
據格林美獎官方網站指，該獎項旨在表彰源自亞洲或在亞洲市場廣為人知的亞洲流行音樂表演，肯定其藝術卓越成就，涵蓋韓國流行音樂（K-pop）、日本流行音樂（J-pop）及華語流行音樂（C-pop）等，表演需運用一種或多種亞洲語言。此獎項將頒發給作品的表演者。

．最佳拉丁歌曲（Best Latin Song）
2027年2月的格林美獎正式應用
2026年度的格林美頒獎禮已於2月舉行，主辦單位表示，新增獎項類別及規則變更已即時生效，並將於2027年2月的格林美獎正式應用。
